By using the Highstone Global University Library service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Borrowing
- Items must be returned by their due date.
- You are responsible for lost or damaged items borrowed under your account.
- The library may suspend borrowing privileges for repeated overdue returns.
Holds and reservations
- A hold reserves the next available copy of an item for you.
- When your hold becomes ready, you have three (3) days to borrow the item before the hold expires and passes to the next member in the queue.
- You may cancel a hold at any time from your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access accounts other than your own, disrupting the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Governing law
Highstone Global University ("HGU") is registered in the State of Texas, United States. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Texas shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
